An Heroic Ministry
Introducing Pastor Steven from Rwanda:

Pastor Steven

Pastor Steven Turikunkiko has set up a community in Rwanda for victims of the genocide. 160 widows & teenagers & 80 younger children live with him; farming, sharing their lives and caring for those dying from AIDS. The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day.

At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children.

US flagSelling unwanted toys provides schooling for Somalian children. That is what young people near Chicago are discovering through their Neighbourhood Grage Sales.

Young people are donating and selling their toys, games, books and cuddly toys and giving the proceeds to Bright Hope International. As a result, 12 Somalian refugee children were enabled to go to school last year.

Bright Hope International works with local churches throughout Africa to provide spiritual, practical and educational support. For more information, see their website www.brighthope.org
