An Heroic Ministry
Introducing Pastor Steven from Rwanda:

Pastor Steven

Pastor Steven Turikunkiko has set up a community in Rwanda for victims of the genocide. 160 widows & teenagers & 80 younger children live with him; farming, sharing their lives and caring for those dying from AIDS. The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day.

At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children.

Argentina flagFather Pepe has received death threats for bravely confronting drug barons. He was part of a team that produced a report called "The De Facto Decriminalization of Drugs in the Villas". Since then, the priest - whose real name is Father Jose Maria Di Paola - has been in danger in his home city of Beunos Aires.

Father Pepe has responded by stating that he will continue his fight because "we want all the youth to grow in the faith, go to school, have goals and objectives in life."

The priest has had good support beoth from Caritas and Christian Democratic Party in Beunos Aires.
