Pupils have won the right to rate their teachers' performances online. This is the ruling of the Federal Court of Justice, which threw out the claims of a teacher who said that her rights had been infringed by pupils who gave her negative reviews.
The website Editor has defended the forum as providing freedom of opinion for pupils. The teacher's lawyer, however, disagrees - stating that anonymity on behalf of the pupil and the fact that they can review the same teacher more than once goes against the spirit of transparency and objectivity.
