To date, 31,594 have contracted swine flu in Mexico - and 231 have died. To help curb this pandemic, 8 young Japanese volunteers have flown to Mexico to help educate people about the need for sanitary and health awareness.
The 8 volunteers are part of the Japan International Cooperatiuon Agency, which offers assistance overseas during times of need. They will be working alongside local health officials in the southern Chiapas and Tabasco states.
